Alexander Komlosi teaches regularly at the Department of Dance and Theatre Pedagogy and Open University at the University of Arts Helsinki, where he also teaches at the Department of Dance and the Swedish Acting Department.

He taught for twelve years at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He has also taught workshops internationally, including New York University, Yale University, Rose Bruford College, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and the Swedish Theatre, Helsinki
