Stefan Aquilina is the Director of the School of Performing Arts and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Theatre Studies (University of Malta). He is also the Co-Director of the Stanislavsky Research Centre. His publications include: Stanislavsky in the World (co-edited with Jonathan Pitches, Bloomsbury 2017), Interdisciplinarity in the Performing Art (co-edited with Malaika Sarco-Thomas, 2018), Modern Theatre in Russia (sole author, Bloomsbury 2020), and Amateur and Proletarian Theatre in Post-Revolutionary Russia (sole editor, Bloomsbury forthcoming).
